The Weekend

This weekend on Friday, I stayed after school and went to Whole Foods with friends. My cousin, Maggie, met me and my sister there and we went home after about an hour and a half. When we got home we just hung out and watched t.v. Then next day we went out to the desert with my grandparents and my uncle. We set of little fireworks and were there for a really long time. When we started to drive home, we decided to stop at a strange little store called Charlie Brown. It was filled with people so we just got some drinks and started to drive home. On our way back, we made another unexpected stop at Vazcez Rocks. Or at least I think that's what it's called. It was really fun there. We hiked to the top of these strange rocks and we stayed there until it was beginning to turn dark. When we got home we were really exhausted. Today, on Saturday we went to the Cheesecake Factory and afterwards relaxed at home.

This Weekend...

This weekend, on Friday I went to the talent show because my sister was singing with her friend. My cousin, Maggie, came with me and at the end of the show we stayed for a while to talk to everybody. The next day we were planning on going to an art thing downtown, but we ended up not going because it was raining to much. So then we ended up going to the village. We walked around for a while looking at the stores and then ate at a restaurant there. Then we went to Yogurtland. By the time we got home, we watched some TV and then fell right asleep. Today, on Sunday, we pretty much just stayed in our pajamas all day and watched Netflix. Then, we finished any homework we had and showered, brushed our teeth and all that stuff. Well, that's it. Weekend

This weekend I went to my aunt's house in Topanga. My cousin and my sister came with me and we spent Friday driving to Topanga. My aunt is kind of all about healthful environments, so we first went on a hike. The hike was steep and it took about an hour to get to the destination at the top of the mountain. We spent a half an hour at the top of the mountain and then went back to her house. The next day, on Saturday, we walked down to the beach and walked by shops. We ended up going to a small cupcake shop and got some cupcakes. After walking around we ended up going to the Chesecake Factory. After eating my aunt took us on a different hike. On Easter we all went to my aunt's friends house, who was having a small party. Afterwards my aunt took us all home.

My Weekend

This weekend when I got home my sister gave me a book called Elanor And Park. I was hooked to it instantly for some reason, which was weird because it was kind of boring at the beginning. I started reading that day and I finished it the next. I thought it was a very good book but was a little disappointed at the end. It was one of those books that left you wondering what would happen with the characters. It left you hanging. I tried to forget about it the next day. My family and I went to the beach and ate at this little restaurant in a little town. But at the end of the day, my sister gave me another book. I'm half way done with it now. It's not as good as the other yet but it's still pretty good. This weekend wasn't as fun as I had expected, but at least I did something.

Lockdown

Last week at school I was sitting in math class and my principle announced on the speaker that there would be a lockdown and to shut the doors. Nobody really freaked out because our teacher stayed calm about it. She told us to just keep on doing our work and to not get scared. A while later nutrition came around and our teacher let us sit with our friends and eat our food, but she advises us not to eat just in case we had to go to the bathroom and were still on lockdown. But just a minute later our TA told her he had to go to the bathroom so she gave him a gallon water bottle and he sat with his back facing toward us in the corner on his knees and he went. Everybody was pretty grossed out but we got over it after a while. Thank goodness we got to go free after nutrition.

My Weekend

This weekend I had plans to go up into the mountains and visit friends, but instead I only spent one day there and went home early. The next day, I went to Reseda High School to participate in a dance. After about an hour there, I went to Paramount Ranch with my family. While we were driving there, the mountains looked so green and it almost looked like I was in Ireland. When you walk through, there are old buildings that were used in movies. My family and I walk around and hiked through the
mountains. When we drove home, we went to Starbucks and ate dinner. The next day, my cousin and I walked around the neighborhood and then when we came home, we watched the Ellen Show. At the end of the day, my sister came home from a trip to Disneyland with her friends and we did our homework.

This Weekend...

This weekend I went to a very beautiful park and on a wonderful hike with my family. After the hike we went to a restaurant and ate dinner. The next day we visited friends in Frazier Park and when we got home we went swimming and enjoyed the sun and warmth. We pretty much spent the whole day outside and soaked in the sunlight. The week was very stressful so this weekend I tried to relax and enjoy my time off school. The day after that my sister, cousin, and I spent most of the day home alone and really just relaxed. We also walked to the store and bought junk food. And at the end of the day, just like any other weekend, I did the rest of my homework and got everything ready for school. Oh, and I also watched the Oscars with my sister and we were so happy with the outcome.

My weekend

This weekend was just a half relaxing and half tiring time. Right after school on Friday my grandpa, grandma, sister, and I went to pick up my cousin, Maggie and we all went to the beach. By the time we got there, it was getting dark. We decided to eat at Malibu Sea Food. We spent about an hour there and afterwards we went home and fell asleep. The next day my sister's friend came over because they needed to finish a project. I also had to finish a small project that day. My sister went to the Cheesecake Factory with her friend when they finished. My cousin and I were home alone at that time and we were bored, so we decided to bake a chocolate cake and we made vanilla frosting. On Sunday, my sister, cousin and I went on a very long walk around the neighborhood. When my cousin went home, I pretty much just finished all of my homework. This weekend I had fun and I hope you enjoyed reading this blog.

First Time To Arizona

This weekend I went to Arizona for the first time. So far, it's been very beautiful but it has also been very dusty and pretty hot. My grandparents, two uncles and two aunts went out to the desert and saw wonderful cactus everywhere. I haven't seen much here because I have only two days to explore this new state. Unfortunately there just isn't enough time. The air is nice and cool in the night. The mountains surround everything and it is a beautiful sight. My family and I went into town and into a small shop that sold all types of rocks and gems. There were strange types of jewelry and charms.   When we were out in the desert, we set off small fireworks that were really cool. The whole trip was a fun experience and I hope I can go again soon.

The Baby Shower

This weekend I went to my cousin's baby shower. It was my first baby shower and she was about ready to have little twin baby girls. During the event, I had more fun than I had expected. My cousin, sister and I spent time with our other little cousins from London. We all played fun games and I played one particular chocolate guessing game and won a big basket full of chocolate which I doubt I will ever finish. There were much other games in which everybody won something. Afterwards we had little snacks that were not very filling. There was moist chocolate and vanilla cake after the snacks. The cakes had the twins names drawn on them with frosting, Lily and Lyla. After some time, Hannah, my cousin started opening all of the presents for her babies. When the day was over, we said goodbye to everybody and made our way home.

My Weekend

This weekend, on Sunday my sister, grandmother, grandfather, and I went to visit my aunt in Topanga. Her and her boyfriend live in a big beautiful rustic looking house that seems to be hidden and closed away from everything. It really is beautiful there and there are views of the mountains in every direction you look. Me and my sister went into their backyard and just hung out. We spent some time on their trampoline and took some pictures of their house and all of the nature around it. We stayed for a couple of hours to eat and talk to each other. After we said goodbye, we packed into the car and started to drive away from Topanga. The drive back home was very nice because we just sat and listened to music. When we got back home my sister and I just did all of our homework and relaxed. That was what I did on the last day of my weekend.

Last Day Of Winter Vacation

On the last day of winter vacation my family and I went on a long drive to Mount Whitney. We weren't sure if the road would be open because of the snow. It was a little to heavy and the road might have been too slippery to drive into the mountain. By the time we got up to the mountain entrance, it was closed. Of course we were all disappointed but we had a really amazing time there. We enjoyed the view and all of the beauty there, but we were also freezing and wet. After we were done at Mount Witney, we stopped at the point where the snow had started to fade away. We drove into a place where the rocks looked like a canyon and ate lunch there. We spent hours there just taking pictures of the mountains and enjoying the fresh air. It really was the best way of spending the last day of winter vacation.
